Unauthenticated host information disclosure via CGI endpoint
Published Jan 6, 2025 · Updated Jan 7, 2025
Access control failure in ipTIME A2004 12.17.0 allows remote attackers to read sensitive host information without authentication. The /login/hostinfo.cgi endpoint returns device information to an unauthenticated network request instead of enforcing the router's access-control boundary. The public record does not identify the returned fields or establish broader device control, so the demonstrated consequence is limited to information exposure.
