Authenticated code execution via dev_code SQL injection

Published Jan 9, 2025 · Updated Jan 10, 2025

SQL injection in BigAnt Office Messenger 5.6.06 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands via dev_code. The Admin user endpoint incorporates dev_code into stacked SQL statements without neutralizing SQL syntax, permitting a SELECT INTO OUTFILE statement to create a PHP web shell. Code execution requires access to the administrative interface, stacked-query support, and database permission to write into the web root.
