Uncontrolled recursion in Coherent Graphics Ltd CPDF 2.8 and earlier allows local users to crash the process via a crafted PDF. The public report demonstrates stack overflow during output writing after malformed-file reconstruction and identifies an object cycle as the suspected trigger; no function-level locus is published. Processing attacker-controlled PDF input locally is required, and the reported consequence is a stack overflow or segmentation fault that terminates CPDF.
