Authenticated command execution via unvalidated deployment parameters
Published Aug 23, 2024 · Updated Aug 23, 2024
Code injection in ManageEngine OpManager products through build 128329 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands on target servers. The Deploy Agent action initiates a remote connection without validating supplied parameters, causing attacker-controlled command text to reach the target server. Write access to that UI action is required, and successful exploitation executes custom commands on selected target servers.
