Memory corruption in WebKit across affected Apple platforms allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via malicious web content. The DOM EventTargetSet retained counted strong references to EventTarget objects instead of weak references, allowing stale object lifetimes during content processing. Opening or rendering attacker-controlled web content is required; Apple reports memory corruption but does not claim code execution.
