Lock-screen notification disclosure via VoiceOver logic
Published Dec 11, 2024 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Information disclosure in VoiceOver in iOS and iPadOS before 18.2 allows physically proximate attackers to view lock-screen notifications. Apple also lists iPadOS before 17.7.3 and macOS before 15.2 as affected, but has not published the erroneous VoiceOver operation behind the disclosure. The attacker must have physical access to a locked device, and the documented consequence is limited to reading notification content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
