Stored XSS via forged privileged-user request
Published Dec 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Like in Vk.com 0.5.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to store script via a forged privileged-user request. Attacker-controlled content is stored and later rendered without neutralization, but public records do not name the affected action or input field. Exploitation requires a privileged user to visit or submit attacker-controlled content, after which the script executes in later browser sessions.
