Stored XSS via missing nonce validation
Published Dec 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Phuc Pham Multiple Admin Emails 1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts. A settings-update function fails to validate a WordPress nonce, so a forged request can change plugin settings and store attacker-controlled script. Exploitation requires a site administrator to perform an attacker-induced action, after which the stored script executes in affected browser contexts.
