Stored XSS via unchecked AJAX task updates
Published Dec 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in Termin-Kalender 0.99.47 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to store cross-site scripting payloads. The wp_ajax_todo_list_update_tasks AJAX handler updates task-list data without checking the caller’s WordPress capability before accepting attacker-controlled content. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and execution requires another user to view the stored content; the same action also permits unauthorized task-list modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
