Stored XSS via cross-site request forgery
Published Dec 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Micha's i-plant-a-tree plugin 1.7.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to store scripts through crafted requests. Public CNA and Patchstack records omit the affected handler, parameter, and validation failure that accepts the script payload. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to visit attacker-controlled content; stored script execution follows during later page views.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=1.7.3 changes=[{"at":"1.7.4","status":"unaffected"}]
