Subscriber-level field-option disclosure via unchecked AJAX authorization
Published Dec 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in the GEO WordPress plugin 4.5.0.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read form field options through AJAX. Requests to gmw_get_field_options() are processed without nonce verification or confirmation that the caller is authorized to obtain the requested options. Subscriber-level WordPress access is required; public sources do not identify which field options a successful request exposes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
