Authenticated code execution via shortcode-controlled file inclusion
Published Jun 25, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Local file inclusion in WPCafe 2.2.25 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute server code through a shortcode. The reservation form template uses the reservation_extra_field shortcode parameter as a PHP include target without restricting the supplied filename. Contributor-level WordPress access is sufficient to include an attacker-chosen local or remote file, allowing code execution when a usable PHP file is reachable.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
