Contributor-level script execution via undisclosed DOM processing
Published Dec 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
DOM-based XSS in Unlock Addons for Elementor 2.2.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a visitor's browser. Public records identify client-side DOM processing as the locus but do not disclose the affected widget, source-to-sink flow, or unsanitized input operation. Contributor-level access and a privileged user's interaction are required; successful exploitation can alter displayed content and access browser-visible session data.
