CVE-2024-5420Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Session hijacking via stored device-description script

Published Jun 4, 2024 · Updated Oct 8, 2025

Stored XSS in the web interfaces of SEH utnserver Pro, utnserver ProMAX, and INU-100 through 20.1.22 allows remote attackers to hijack sessions. The device-description page stores its parameter without neutralizing JavaScript and renders the saved value in later visitors' browsers. Exploitation requires a user to visit attacker-controlled content; opening the saved description then runs the injected script in that user's browser context.
