CVE-2024-54145Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated SQL injection via unquoted network parameter

Published Jan 27, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

SQL injection in Cacti 1.2.28 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate discovery-result queries through the network parameter. The get_discovery_results function appends the sanitized but unquoted network value directly to the network_id SQL condition instead of binding an integer. A low-privileged account with access to automation_devices.php can change query logic to return all discovery results, with no demonstrated data modification or code execution.
