Session-detail theft via reflected search input
Published May 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected XSS in SaltOS RhinOS 3.0-1190 allows remote attackers to steal victim session details through a crafted search URL. The /portal/search.htm handler places the search parameter into generated HTML without neutralizing script-capable input. Exploitation requires a victim to follow the crafted URL, after which attacker-controlled script runs in the portal's browser context and exposes session details.
