CVE-2024-54036Network attack vector

Session takeover via stored script in form fields

Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Jan 14, 2025

Stored XSS in Adobe Connect 12.0 through 12.6 and 11.4.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over browser sessions. Vulnerable form fields retain attacker-supplied script content, which the application later renders without neutralization in another user's browser. Exploitation requires a victim to browse the page containing the field; executed JavaScript can take over that browser session, with no service interruption reported.
