Session takeover via stored form-field scripts
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Stored XSS in Adobe Connect 12.6, 11.4.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over sessions through malicious form input. Vulnerable form fields retain attacker-supplied script content and return it to a victim's page without neutralizing it, causing JavaScript to run in the victim's browser. A victim must browse to the page after an unauthenticated attacker injects the payload; successful execution permits session takeover.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
