CVE-2024-54014

Malicious-site redirect via unrestricted custom URL scheme

Published Dec 5, 2024 · Updated Dec 5, 2024

Improper authorization in Skylark App 6.2.13 and earlier allows attackers to redirect users to arbitrary websites through a custom URL scheme. The scheme handler accepts a website destination supplied by another installed application and loads it in the app's WebView without restricting the destination. Exploitation requires another application on the same device and user interaction, and the demonstrated consequence is redirection to a malicious site.
