Authenticated command execution through undisclosed CLI flaw
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Dec 11, 2024
Command execution in the AirWave CLI through 8.3.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to run commands as a privileged host user. HPE identifies the affected locus only as the AirWave CLI and has not disclosed the faulty function or its handling of command input. Access to a highly privileged AirWave account is required, and successful exploitation grants privileged command execution on the underlying host.
