OS command injection in Openfind Mail2000 V8.0 before Patch 34 allows remote authenticated users to execute system commands via CGI requests. The affected CGI fails to filter request parameters before using them in a system command, allowing attacker-controlled content to reach the command interpreter. Regular Mail2000 privileges are required, and successful exploitation executes arbitrary commands with the CGI process's permissions.
