HTTPS trust spoofing via premature icon update

UI spoofing in Mozilla Firefox for iOS before 133 allows remote attackers to display a false HTTPS padlock via a crafted HTTP page. The location-bar security state is updated before navigation completes and without ensuring the expected and displayed URLs match, so a stalled HTTPS navigation to a nonexistent port retains attacker-controlled HTTP content while showing the secure icon. A user must visit and interact with attacker-controlled content; the mismatch lasts during the stalled navigation and misrepresents that page as secure.
