Authenticated code execution via unsafe .NET deserialization

Deserialization in Veritas Enterprise Vault before 15.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through a .NET Remoting TCP endpoint. The EVFileSvrArcMngr service accepts crafted user-controlled data without adequate validation and deserializes it in the service-account context. Exploitation requires a valid domain user with Remote Desktop Users membership, access from a network VM, and knowledge of the target process IDs, dynamic ports, and object URIs.
