CVE-2024-5389Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-organization prompt tampering via missing ownership checks

Published Jun 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Incorrect authorization in Lunary 1.2.13 allows remote authenticated users to alter or delete other organizations' dataset prompt variations. Dataset prompt-variation handlers fail to verify that the referenced prompt and variation belong to the requesting user's organization or project. An authenticated account can therefore read, create, change, or remove another tenant's prompt variations, compromising dataset integrity and experiment results.
