CVE-2024-53880Network attack vector

Service interruption via oversized model-file integer overflow

Published Feb 12, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025

Integer overflow in the model loading API in NVIDIA Triton Inference Server 24.11 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service. The API stores an extra-large uploaded model file size in an internal variable that wraps, but NVIDIA has not identified the variable or resulting failure path. Access to the model-loading interface with high privileges is required, and the published impact is limited to denial of service.
