Service interruption via malformed ELF parsing

Out-of-bounds read in NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit before 12.8 allows local users to interrupt cuobjdump by supplying a malformed ELF file. The cuobjdump binary reads past the bounds of an ELF data structure while processing malformed input; NVIDIA has not disclosed the responsible function. Exploitation requires a user to invoke cuobjdump on attacker-controlled input and is limited to partial service interruption in that process.
