Out-of-bounds read in NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit before 12.8 allows local users to interrupt cuobjdump processing via a malformed ELF file. The cuobjdump binary reads beyond an intended buffer while parsing the file; NVIDIA has not disclosed the affected parser routine or missing bounds check. Execution requires a local cuobjdump invocation and interaction with a crafted ELF file, and the documented consequence is limited to partial denial of service.
