Published Dec 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Pie Register Premium before 3.8.3.3 allows remote attackers to place arbitrary files on WordPress servers. The registration form file-upload field fails to validate both the submitted file type and extension before storage. No authentication or user interaction is required, and an uploaded executable file can enable code execution with the web server's privileges.
