Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized studentId query
Published May 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in view.php in itsourcecode.com Student Information Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The page inserts the studentId request parameter directly into an SQL query without validation or parameter binding, enabling Boolean, time-based, and UNION techniques. Access requires a low-privileged account, and successful queries can disclose or alter records available to the application database user.
