Stored XSS via undisclosed contributor input
Published Nov 30, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Codeless CoWidgets – Elementor Addons 1.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in visitors’ browsers. The CNA and Patchstack identify persistent script injection but do not disclose the affected widget, input field, storage path, or missing encoding operation. Contributor access and a subsequent victim page view are required; successful exploitation executes attacker-controlled script in the visitor's WordPress origin.
