Authenticated script execution via unneutralized address input
Published May 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Kashipara Group College Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute browser scripts. The submit_new_faculty.php endpoint processes the address parameter without the output neutralization required by CWE-79, allowing executable markup to reach a browser. A low-privileged account must submit the value, and a victim must render the affected response; the reported impact is limited to content integrity.
