Published Nov 28, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Idealien Category Enhancements 1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts into settings. Public advisories identify missing or incorrect nonce validation in a settings-update function but do not disclose its name or affected parameters. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to act on a crafted link or page, after which the saved script executes when the affected value is rendered.
