Stored script execution via forged settings update
Published Dec 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSRF in Oliver Lindner’s content-protection plugin 1.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to store scripts via forged settings requests. Missing or incorrect nonce validation occurs in an unnamed settings-update function; public records omit the function name and affected parameter. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open a crafted link or page; the forged update stores script that executes in a later visitor’s browser.
