Contributor-level browser script execution via undisclosed DOM handling
Published Dec 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
DOM-based XSS in Nasir Uddin Generic Elements 1.2.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in browsers. Neither the CNA record nor its sole advisory identifies the affected widget, input, or client-side DOM operation that fails to neutralize attacker-controlled content. Contributor-level access is required, and exploitation depends on a privileged user opening crafted content, allowing script execution in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
