CVE-2024-53623Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Version disclosure via unauthenticated XML endpoint

Published Nov 29, 2024 · Updated Dec 2, 2024

Missing authentication in TP-Link Archer C7 v5 firmware allows remote attackers to read device version data over the network. The l_0_0.xml endpoint accepts a direct HTTP request without authentication and places the device version in response headers. Network reachability to the router interface is sufficient; the documented consequence is limited to disclosure of version information.
