Unauthenticated SQL injection via unsanitized deptid parameter
Published May 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Hospital Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read and modify database data. The departmentDoctor.php handler passes the unsanitized deptid GET value directly into a database query, permitting boolean-, error-, time-, and UNION-based injection. No authentication or user interaction is required; a crafted request can extract or alter hospital database records and interrupt database-backed functions.
