Missing authorization in Handcent NextSMS 10.9.9.7 allows attackers to read sensitive application data through its content provider. The MessageProvider exposed at content://com.handcent.messaging.provider.MessageProvider/ serves protected data without checking whether the caller is authorized. Exploitation requires no authentication or user interaction and is limited to confidentiality loss; no data modification or service interruption is reported.
