Authenticated object injection through validationRules deserialization
Published May 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Deserialization in AJ-Report 1.4.0 and 1.4.1 allows remote authenticated users to inject objects through validationRules. DataSetParamController verification deserializes attacker-controlled validationRules input, but public sources do not identify the deserializer or gadget chain. The CNA requires low-privileged network access; public material does not establish the resulting actions beyond unsafe object injection.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
