Unauthenticated administrative access via unnormalized paths
Published Aug 22, 2025 · Updated Aug 26, 2025
Improper access control in SpringBootBlog 1.0.0 allows remote attackers to access administrative functions without authentication. BaseInterceptor.preHandle checks the raw request URI against exempt administrative paths before normalization, allowing a path containing /admin/css/../ to reach a protected handler. A network-reachable deployment is sufficient; a crafted unauthenticated request can invoke administrative actions, including article deletion.
