Unauthenticated command execution via unsafe deserialization
Published Dec 2, 2024 · Updated Dec 11, 2024
Deserialization of untrusted data in JFinal CMS 5.1.0 allows remote attackers to execute commands through the web application. ApiForm.java performs deserialization without authorization, allowing attacker-controlled serialized data to invoke commands. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs commands with the CMS process's privileges.
