Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Jun 22, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in UX Themes Flatsome 3.18.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through shortcode attributes. The UX Countdown, Video Button, UX Video, UX Slider, UX Sidebar, and UX Payment Icons handlers fail to sanitize supplied attributes or escape them during page rendering. Contributor-level access is required to store a payload, and the script runs in the browser of anyone who opens the injected page.
