Arbitrary file read via unrestricted snapshot path
Published Jun 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
External file-path control in Stition Devika allows remote attackers to read server files through the browser-snapshot API. The /api/get-browser-snapshot endpoint accepts the snapshot_path parameter as a server-side file location without restricting it to snapshot storage. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful requests disclose files readable by the Devika process without changing server data.
