CVE-2024-53333Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unsanitized ussd parameter

Published Nov 21, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024

Command injection in TOTOLINK EX200 Firmware 4.0.3c.7646_B20201211 allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands. The setUssd handler places the ussd parameter into an intermediate string and passes it to system without neutralizing shell delimiters. A valid session cookie and an HTTP POST to cstecgi.cgi are required; injected commands run in the appliance firmware context and can alter files or interrupt service.
