CVE-2024-5333Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated event disclosure via unrestricted REST collection

Published Dec 16, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2025

Information disclosure in The Events Calendar before 6.8.2.1 allows remote attackers to read password-protected event details via REST. The public /wp-json/tribe/events/v1/events/ collection endpoint fails to exclude password-protected event posts from unauthenticated responses. No account or interaction is required, but disclosure depends on the site containing a protected event returned by that endpoint.
