Credential theft via newline-injected helper queries

Line-delimiter injection in Git LFS before 3.6.1 allows remote attackers to retrieve Git credentials through a crafted remote URL. Git LFS serializes decoded URL fields into newline-delimited input for git credential fill without rejecting embedded LF characters, allowing injected fields to alter the credential query. Exploitation requires a user to invoke Git LFS against an attacker-controlled URL, after which returned credentials are sent to that remote host.
