CVE-2024-53253Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via serialized integration error response

Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024

Information disclosure in Sentry 24.11.0 allows remote attackers to obtain application integration credentials through an error response. The select requester serializes the entire Sentry application object, including its client ID and secret, when a third-party search response fails validation. Exposure requires a custom integration using an asynchronous Search component; using the secret also requires a valid application API token.
