Kernel crash via oversized clock count

Buffer overflow in Linux 6.10 through 6.11.10 and 6.12 through 6.12.1 allows local users to crash the kernel. The Loongson2 clock probe allocates hws for clks_num pointers but sets clk_data.num above that capacity, permitting an unchecked hws[clks_num] access. Reachability requires local access to a Loongson2 system using the affected clock driver; the bounded consequence is a kernel crash from memory corruption.
