Host hang via unchecked guest Intel PT state

Improper validation in Linux KVM allows local users to hang hosts or crash guest VMs through Intel PT guest/host mode. The VMX code fails to keep tracing disabled before VM entry and trusts guest CPUID counts when selecting RTIT MSRs, causing invalid loads plus out-of-bounds reads and writes. Access to /dev/kvm and pt_mode=1 is required; a crafted vCPU sequence can corrupt host kernel state, hang the host, or terminate running guests.
