Remote kernel compromise via uninitialized NFS pointer

Memory corruption in the Linux NFS client allows remote attackers to compromise the kernel through a crafted NFSv4 GETATTR reply. decode_getfattr_attrs() invokes decode_attr_mdsthreshold() with an uninitialized fattr->mdsthreshold pointer, enabling a controlled kernel-memory write from server-supplied XDR values. Reachability requires an existing NFSv4 mount to a malicious or compromised server, or an on-path attacker modifying unprotected AUTH_SYS traffic; exploitation grants kernel code execution or crashes the client.
