Code execution via TGA parser out-of-bounds write
Published Jun 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in the TGA parser in Tungsten Automation Power PDF 5.0.0.57 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code. The parser fails to validate user-supplied TGA data before writing it past the end of an allocated buffer. A target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; successful exploitation runs code in the context of the current process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
